(11/12) SA reminders
SA6 and SA7 are active; SA8 has also been made active. The
last self-assessment would be SA9. Note that SA8 covers only
a small part of Subject 8 (primarily graph searching).
SAs are to be used in conjunction with
the Problem Sets available at the end of a given Subject. Thus SA8
is complemented with Problem Set 8, but so are every other SA.

is explained/covered in Document 2.

(11/04) PrP Reminder
Less than one month left for PrP (available until December 3
at 17:00).

(11/03) Exam 2 grading and MIDTERM CLASS PERFORMANCE
Exam 2 has been graded. It will be returned in the classrom
on Wed (11/5) at around 19:30. After that, if you are absent
from class, you may pick it up
during designated office hours.
Statistics for the exam are available in Section C of the CWP
and also Canvas Announcements. A solution key will
be made available after Wednesday 11/5.
MIDTERM CLASS PERFORMANCE (letter grade indication) is available
in canvas announcements as well.

(10/24) HW2 sol key
While the HW is being graded, the solution key has been made
available in Canvas Announcements.

(10/28)(10/24)(10/14) Exam 2 preparatory
Exam 2 is in 15 days approximately (Wed 29 Oct @ 18:00).
Material to be covered draws from Sub 1- Sub 5 and the equivalent
chapters of the designated textbook. Note Exam 2 is open designated
textbook; if you bring the designated textbook you may use it, but you
are not allowed to borrow one from a fellow student.
Moreover the exam will be graded and the expectation is it will be
returned next Wed (11/5). At that time a midterm class performance
will be made available: an indicative letter grade will be generated
from HW1, HW2, EX1, EX2.

(10/20) Canvas Accessibility today
Some time after 8am today canvas accessibility has been
spotty if not impossible. This relates to an announced AWS
problem. The situation is being monitored. The course
web-page on the other hand is active and thus some material are
still available through section C.

(10/14) SA5 settings
SA5 has an available until date that runs through Oct 29, 17:00.
Exam 2 is at 18:00 the same day.
Even if self-assessments are not part of the grade rubric of the course,
I have modified the settings of SA 5 as follows: after you submit three
times, you can see the correct answers along your answers immediately
i.e. before 17:00 on Oct 29.

It will be completed before next class.

A solution key will be provided in both areas as well.
The paper copy of the exam will be returned in class
during the break on Wed around 7:30pm.

There was an adjustment on SA3's availability; it
is available until Oct 22 (17:00).

SA-1B will cease to be available later today.
SA-2 will stay on until next Wed 17:00
HW1 was extended to Fri Sep 26 but to 1pm (13:00) not 17:00.

In Subject 1, all references to Document 2 should change

This web-page has been constructed.
In section B you may find the syllabus for Fall 2025
as Document 1. Other information is also available.

The Canvas page for CS610 will be released i.e. published
on 8/28.
The Announcements will be released around 3pm on 8/28.
If you see something earlier, it is by accident, it might
disappear or re-appear!
