Info for Exam 2

There will be 8 problems for 100 points:

Exam will cover: sequences, series and uniform convergence
	(these questions may focus on the types of things
	many students did not seem to understand for the
	first exam)

Partial differentiation:
	Taking partial derivatives
	Continuity
	Differentiability for a function of 2 variables
	C^1
	Jacobians and taking derivatives for a system
	Differentials, Gradients and Directional derivatives

Some problems to focus on:
	Analyzing whether a series converges or diverges
	Showing a sequence of functions converges uniformly
		and properties of uniformly convergent
		sequences of functions (or properties that
		might occur if a sequence is not uniformly convergent)
	Taking partial derivatives and 2nd derivatives
	Is a function continuous, differentiable, C^1, e.g. old exam problems.
	Using Jacobians to compute derivatives
	Finding directional derivatives and using differentials.
