  3. Make the page look professional.
  4. Ensure visitors to the site can trust whomever the website is representative of.
  5. Do not make the site Flash-based.

Bad Practice:

  1. Believing people care about you and your website.
  2. Using text/background colors with poor contrast.
  3. Navigation is difficult and users can get lost.
  4. Using graphics for text.
  5. Overloading one page with too much information
