Angular Momentum in Solar Nebula

(a) Derive an expression for the dependence of angular momentum on semi-major axis distance from the Sun, for circular orbits, and show that it is L = (GMm2a)1/2. (b) If a planet migrates from a circular orbit of radius (semi-major axis) a1 to a more distant circular orbit a2 > a1, does its angular momentum have to increase, or decrease?
