If the injury was from exercise, competition, work or sports, it is important to refrain from these activities for a short period of time in order to give the injured areas time to heal. It is also important to realize that it is also important to get plenty of sleep in order to give the body enough energy to recuperate

Eat a

balanced diet

 

Our bodies are like small factories. They are able to make and rebuild all types of bodily tissues and fluids. However, the body needs the basic building blocks in order to do this.

 

 

Therefore, eat a balanced diet including a variety of meats, fish, breads, fruits and vegetables. Remember to check with all of physicians for certain diet restrictions depending on your current health status.

 

Get plenty of exercise

Once your condition stabilizes and you begin to improve you will be allowed to resume your physical activities. If you were not physically active then an exercise program tailored for your specific condition will be recommended.

Have a positive mental attitude

 

People with a positive outlook regarding their health will tend to respond better to the care given and will generally improve faster.
