Narrative Description of the Course

An analysis of Flexible & Computer Integrated Manufacturing Systems is introduced and design methods, tools, technologies and their management issues within a variety of small-medium and large enterprises are developed.

On completing this program of study the students will be able to understand  Computer Integrated Manufacturing System analysis and design methods and tools such as CAD, CAM, FMS, Industrial Robotics and Programmable Logic Controllers as well as  flexible cell design methods, and tool management systems.
