About Me

I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Computer Science program at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT). I received an MEng in Information Security from Tehran Polytechnic (AUT) and a BEng in Information Technology from the University of Mazandaran.

I have a demonstrated history of computer security and privacy research in areas including web security, malware analysis, and cryptanalysis. My current focus is on exploring web browser side-channels and mitigation techniques in an effort to improve data security and user privacy on the web.

Prior to joining NJIT, I worked as a security and privacy researcher at APA Research Center at AUT. I was born and raised in Mazandaran, Iran.

Our recent paper on targeted deanonymization attacks has received a lot of media attention: Popular Science | Wired | The Hacker News | SecurityWeek | Schneier on Security | Reddit | Slashdot | Gab Social | Business Insider Spain/Mexico (in Spanish) | Visao (in Portuguese) | T3n Magazin (in German) | OnlineHändler.de (in German) | Wired Japan (in Japanese) | Ferra.ru (in Russian) | Developpez.com (in French)
