Letting a slight smirk show upon your face only serves to coax another bead of sweat upon the innkeeper's smiling face as he gestures once more towards the door. While slowly walking around the room, you remark on how much business he would lose if other travelers heard such things. and with you heading to the capital, maybe an official or two might head in this direction. With a disgruntled grumble, the innkeeper opens a drawer and fishes out the amount of coin you paid, muttering how your silence on the matter was payment enough. The next day, you set out refreshed and well-rested with a bounce in your step.
