After several years of inactivity, Newark
Review has come alive.
Since this is our first appearance since the NEWARK-BORN INTERNATIONALIST
ELECTROpoet Allen Ginsberg's passing from matter to spirit, I dedicate
this set of writings to him. He remains an extremely valuable teacher.
An interview with Allen, conducted by Nikki Stiller and Sam Wallace, appeared
in our last issue; the
transcript is now attached to our web site.
The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at New
Jersey Institute of Technology sponsors and supports Newark
Review. Grateful thanks are
due to Professors Norbert Elliot, Nikki Stiller (former editor), Amy Hufnagel
(hardware sharing), Kimako's Blues People, The Fringe, & Eliot Katz,
and all contributors. Please enjoy.
