Establishing standards for online course design, and standards for online instructors:

1) What standards are in place now at your institution? (or, what types are you trying/hoping to implement)

2) Are they formal?

3) At what level are standards addressed - by dept, college, institutional?

4) What effect (if any) do national/international compliance standards such as SCORM, AICC, NSTISSI, et al have on course design?

5) Do you address standards through your CMS or LMS use?

6) Are there standards for how faculty are selected, trained and supported in eLearning?

7) Are there standard development timetables for online courses?
