Direction to 63 Downing street from NJIT

1. Buy a downtown ticket  at the Warren Street station of CITY SUBWAY and go to Newark Penn Station.  Do not forget to validate the ticket at Warren street station.
2. Buy a NJ Transit ticket for New York Penn station .  You may buy a round trip ticket so that you don’t have to buy ticket for return journey.
3. After getting down at NY Penn station, follow signs to the subway station  for trains 1, 2 and 3.
4. Buy a metro card from the subway station. Take the Downtown Subway #1 Train and get down at Houston street station. (Click to see the NYC Subway Map). (The stations are 34th street/Penn stn.,  28th st., 23rd St., 18th st., 14th st., Christopher St., and Houston st.).
5. Follow the New York City Map to find 63 Downing Street.  It is near the crossing of West Houston and Varick street. (Click here to see the New York City street map).

Return journey
1. Take Uptown Subway train # 1 from Houston Street to 34th street/NY Penn Station.
2. Take a NJ transit train to Newark Penn Station.
3. Take a City Subway to Warren Street Station.
