About DeepCS

We want to Improve the student-faculty interaction within the department by:

• Holding Social-Hours where faculty and students share their view-points or points of view

• Organizing pizza-parties occasionally

• holding more social-activities

Create a forum of intellectual interactivity within the department by having:

• Fun and Challenging activities like, programming contests, puzzles by the faculty, and more

• Graduate Speaker's Club for encouraging graduate student's to presenting their exciting research and improve their presentation skills

• inviting people (performers in whom the graduate students are interested) to share their experiences, TechTalks

Help the PhD student's :

• by organizing Qualifying-Exam Study clubs or review-sessions

• and more..

Help the NEW Graduate Students by:

• making them aware of variety of research activities in the department by conducting Orientation Sessions

• help them find their Master's project, Thesis or PhD advisor in the department

• and more ...

Have the graduate student's concerns / opinion heard in the department:

• holding student feedback sessions / surveys in the department

• and more..
