Bio
Sriram studied Metallurgical and Materials Engineering at the National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli (India) and pursued his masters in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium) and Chalmers University of Technology (Sweden) as part of the Erasmus Mundus program. After graduation, as a FNRS fellow, he received a PhD in Condensed Matter Physics under the supervision of Prof. Gian-Marco Rignanese at UC Louvain in Belgium. He worked on characterizing photovoltaic materials using computational techniques with a focus on kesterite solar cells. His current research interest focuses on using group theoretic and ab-initio methods to understand disorder and domain wall properties in perovskite-based systems.
