Assignment: Getting to Know You

Due Date:

Saturday September 8, 2001

Goal:

The goal is for all of us to get to know each other a bit. This will also help you get on the WebBoard system.

What to Do:

In the GETTING TO KNOW YOU conference on WebBoard, add a short biographical sketch about yourself. Include:

  1. your name
  2. the name we actually should call you (i.e., your nickname)
  3. your university (NJIT, Rutgers or NTU)
  4. year, program and major
  5. whether you are an undergraduate, masters or Ph.D. student
  6. your employer and any job experience you've had regarding information systems (as a programmer or as a user)
  7. any exposure and experiences you've had with the Web and Web standards
  8. What do you expect to get out of this course? What are your hopes and what are your fears?
  9. include a favorite anecdote or joke if you wish

Please read everyone else's sketches as they are entered, and feel free to reply to any you wish.

Thanks!
