Assignment: Getting to Know You
Due Date:
Saturday September 8, 2001
Goal:
The goal is for all of us to get to know each other a bit. This
will also help you get on the WebBoard system.
What to Do:
In the GETTING TO KNOW YOU conference on WebBoard, add a short
biographical sketch about yourself. Include:
- your name
- the name we actually should call you (i.e., your
nickname)
- your university (NJIT, Rutgers or NTU)
- year, program and major
- whether you are an undergraduate, masters or Ph.D.
student
- your employer and any job experience you've had regarding
information systems (as a programmer or as a user)
- any exposure and experiences you've had with the Web and Web
standards
- What do you expect to get out of this course? What are your
hopes and what are your fears?
- include a favorite anecdote or joke if you wish
Please read everyone else's sketches as they are entered, and feel
free to reply to any you wish.
Thanks!
