Professional Summary
Before coming to NJIT, I worked as a technical communicator in the computer industry for approximately 7 years. I managed documentation and training for e-commerce projects, wrote online Helps for financial websites, compiled systems documentation, documented knowledge transfers, etc. During that time I also taught myself HTML and web design. Since coming to NJIT, I have published on technical communication in the iron and steel industry, developed an educational assessment process with Norbert Elliot, and am presently creating an online database of the Judicial Notebooks of John Hyde and Sir Robert Chambers, 1774-1798. I also decipher pre-1800 shorthand documents and plan to write a history of shorthand.
