Application Instructions

Rolling Deadline is April 1st,
2022
- Browse
the faculty mentors
and projects to
determine choice of project area, optical communication
and networking, optical and photonic devices, or optical
systems.
- Complete
the application form. ( [pdf]
)
- Provide
a one page statement describing your career goals, how
this experience will enhance those goals, and your
qualifications for participating in the REU program.
- Submit
your resume which includes information on classes taken,
research/work experience, list of references, and any
other relevant information.
- A
copy of your transcripts. Unofficial transcripts are
acceptable.
- We
require at least one letter of recommendation,
preferably from a faculty member in your major. Faculty
should submit these letters directly to reu@njit.edu.

confirmation email within 3-5 working days.
