Magnetic flux tubes surrounding a central field line may be created using the field line contextual menu. At the time of its creation, a magnetic flux tube receives its own multi-tab property page , located on the magnetic model property tab.

After its creation, the default properties of a magnetic field tube may be adjusted using the following options:

• The multi-tab property page
  
• The magnetic flux tube toolbar menu
  
• The flux tube contextual menu
