Grace is currently a professor and the associate dean for research of Ying Wu College of Computing. She also holds a joint appointment at the Martin Tuchman School of Management. She joined NJIT in 2006 as an Assistant Professor and was promoted to full professor in 2016 in her 30s. She received her Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering and a minor in Statistics from The Pennsylvania State University in 2006. Her research in applied deep learning, blockchain technologies, intelligent transportation, and mobile computing has been highly recognized in the field and cited for over 5000 times by research articles according to Google Scholar.

  • 09/2020: Our project "Decentralized Vehicle Credential Management System Based on Consortium Blockchain" (2020-2023) was funded by FHWA's Exploratory Advanced Research (EAR) program as one of the four awardees among 122 proposal submissions nationwide.
  • 08/2020: Yuan has successfully defended his Ph.D. thesis on "Crowdsourcing Atop Blockchains" and will join the Institute of Software, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Congratulations, Dr. Lu!
