Industrial Robotics 2-2-3 

 Spring Semester

 

Prerequisites: CIS 101, Phys 121, junior or senior standing.

Robotic programming and implementation is accomplished for industrial manufacturing systems. Topics such as robot configurations, drives, activators and end effectors are discussed. Hands-on experimentation with hardware and software for varied industrial robot systems  is achieved during the robotic laboratory assignments. Each student designs and develops an individual robotic workcell project at the conclusion of the course.
