ABSTRACT, PDCS '99
This paper introduces a versatile router for high performance computing. The versatility of this hardware router is based on its capability to adapt at run and/or static times to the characteristics of the systems and/or applications. More specifically, the number of bi-directional data channels, the channel size and the I/O port mappings can change dynamically and statically.
Keywords: parallel processing, VLSI design, message router, adaptable router, wormhole routing.
