(12/22) Course Letter Grades
Banner was provided with course letter grades before 9:30 am on Wed 12/22/2021.
(12/20) Mon 20 December 4-5pm office hours
They will be held at GITC 4324, not in my office.
(12/20) Final Exam Statistics
In section C of the course web-page.
(12/03) PrP Option 2 grading
Some of you might observe a discrepancy between the grade reported
and the grade computed. That discrepancy is 8 points. For example one
might expect to get 130pts and sees a 138pt grade.
The 8 points is because we had 3 submissions that created directories.
The 240pts deducted of those submissions were distributed evenly to the
other submissions that had no directories, per my previous note in
these Announcements, currently available under Past Announcements (11/16 item).
(11/29) Handwritten notes related to Subject 9 revised
I added an appendix (last 5 pages) with an example of Karatsuba-Ofman.
See section C (the revised and the original handwritten notes are both
available).

it was covered elsewhere in class, before the last class/lecture.
Text-book (GT) wise, this material is covered in
Chapters 1-7 and Chapter/Section 9.3, and the
outline/conclusions of Chapter 13.
More detailed information is available on the front of each
Subject that shows the correspondence to the textbook.
Chapter 5, Chapter 6
(but neither 6.3.2 nor the implementation related 6.4.3, 6.5),
Chapter 7 (but neither 7.1.2 nor 7.3.3),
Chapter 9 (only section 9.3),

(11/23) HW5 graded, PrP Option 2 due next week
HW5 has been graded and is available in canvas for two weeks. Solution
key in Section C of the course web-page.
Reminder PrP Option 2 is due in approximately 8 days from today (Tue), the
Wed after Thanksgiving Day, before noon time (12PM for canvas).
(11/16) PrP Option 2
I was reading the Option 2 and at some point i read
"If the difference is less than".
As we did in class and described in Subject 8 and the handwritten notes, this means
"If the absolute value of the difference is less than or equal to".
