I have two Ph.D. positions available in my group starting in Fall 2015 in the following areas:
- Coding and information theory for coordination and communication in wireless networks
- Design and theory of spatially coupled low density parity check codes and their application in source compression and secure communication
- Network error correction and network coding
In order to qualify for these positions, you should have excellent mathematical skills, good knowledge in coding and information theory, a M.Sc. degree (or equivalent) in these or related areas, and a strong interest to pursue theoretical research.
If you are interested, please send me your CV as soon as possible including a list of publications and a copy of your transcript together with a brief statement of research interests and a statement in which of the above research topics you are particularly interested in.
