Welcome!

I am with the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at NJIT since January 2014, first as an Associate Professor and since August 2018 as a Professor. I am also affiliated with NJIT’s Center for Wireless Information Processing. Before my tenure at  NJIT I was an Assistant Professor at New Mexico State University for six years. My recent research interests are

  • Secure and private distributed computation
  • Privacy-preserving machine learning
  • Coding and information theory in general

I also have a significant background in signal processing and wireless communication.
