This 12-credit graduate certificate program focuses on the knowledge and skillsets needed to develop and manage the operation of offshore wind farms. Students will acquire knowledge required to manage, coordinate, plan and direct activities for operating offshore wind plants. CEOs, executives and chief engineers and government officials from industry will teach and prvide insight into the industry.Â

Wind Power System Operation & MaintenanceÂ
This 12-credit graduate certificate program focuses on the operation of an offshore wind power plant and its maintenance issues at the system level. Students will learn to monitor and maintain the operation of a wind farm with a focus on the latest data analytics and inspection technologies. Participants network with project managers and industry experts.Â

Scholarships and AssistantshipsÂ
Scholarships:
8 Scholarship ($3000 each) per year
Priority to students from minority and underrepresented communities
Encourage and attract students to the POWERCERTS Program and support them to complete the workforce training.
Assistantships:
8 Assistantships ($4000 each) per year
Each assistantship ($4000) lasts for 1 semester, with priority to students from minority and underrepresented communities to gain support through experiential learning.
NJIT will identify projects with industry for students to work on with $4000 Assistantships. The industry may decide to match and supplement the financial support.
