This is the oldest Silicon Graphics SMP machine (Origin 2000)
acquired by DMS with the help of an NSF SCREMS grant. Nevertheless, its
performance is on a par with that of fermi.njit.edu/sulcus.njit.edu.
MPI is enabled and for further information on compilers and software please
see the link in the previous sentence.
This machine is an AFS client and local disk space for computational runs
is allocated for users in the /research/faculty
and /research/student partitions (create your
own subdirectory there if it doesn't already exist). Here's information on
