High Schools
Prof. Voronov is actively involved with the following outreach programs: Project SEED (Summer Experience for Economically Disadvantaged), the NJIT Provost High School Summer Research Internship and the New Jersey Science Olympiad. He has also collaborated with the Union County Magnet High School’s Principal Paul Rafalowski on developing a high school Introduction to Chemical EngineeringChemical Engineering course, special-tailored for AP college credit at NJIT.
High School Summer 2017 Research Interns: Elisabeth Stein, Rishabh Shah, Fayiz Faruk, Heather Farrell and Rebeca Amador.
As a result, his high school interns have co-authored several publications with the Voronov group, and have received prestigious awards. For example Adwik Rahematpura, a high school research volunteer who co-authored a paper during Spring 2019, has been accepted to the 2019-2020 class of NJ Governor’s STEM Scholars.
